Flexible Hose Scam and complaints

Flexible Hose Scam and complaints. Here are some collections of flexible Hose scam and flexible hose complaints collected from various source of scam report sites.

“I wanted to order the flexible hose seen on tv. I went on the website and spent too much time listening about the product. Decided on the length..have to complete cc information before the order was placed. Then the questions..buy more and save..no…will get 25% off extra hoses..ok go back and fill in he amount..more questions..would I want to upgrade at $10 per hose…no ty…then customers perfer the extra heavy duty hose insulted wall, etc. etc, etc. no again…they would offer it at 50% off and no handling. Proceed to finish the order and then get the figure of $51.94 shipping..for something so very light weight the shipping was more than I wanted to spend…couldn’t get the order canceled. I received an email with the order number..still no luck to cancel. I will notify Bank of American I want the purchase disputed as I do not want the product. Very difficult and almost dishonest way to sell a product that is not up to par if they have to bend your arm to upgrade.”

“I purchased a 50′ flex hose (Buy one and Get one Free). These are nothing less than a piece of garbage. The free guns leak, the hose never did stretch as advertised.I wrote the company about three weeks ago, guess what (NO REPLY).If you read the conditions on your purchase as published on their web site, you will quickly notice that they have no liability at all on a third party purchase. So we are all out of luck.Consumer protection in government should step in and close down these shotty operations. ”

“I just had the same experience when ordering this on my mobile. They gave me no order review and only told me the total after it had already ordered it. I am going to call them and notify my bank. This is a total ripoff. My dad, who I got it for, says he can buy one down the street from his house for twenty bucks.”

“I,too, purchased a 50 foot flexible hose at Frys Electronics Store in San Diego because I felt it would be easy for me to handle since I am a 71 year old woman. The second time I turned it on it blew apart at the nozzel. It is really a piece of junk and I would not recommend it to anyone. ”

“Ordered hose in jan. received it in apr used it one week, developed a leak , next day the connector at the nozzle blew off . Called customer service and got someone that could not speak English so that I could understand him. Will take my loss and hope no one else orders this piece of crap. The government should shut this scam company down. Believe me this is the worst scam that has been perpetuated on the public.
Wish I had read and heeded all the reviews. ”

Another flexible hose complaint:

“Bought a 50 ft hose at Walmart. It leaked at the connection to the hand sprayer (my regular hose with brass fittings didn’t!). Took it back and got a replacement. This one not only leaked at the connection it also leaked through it’s own shut off valve.

Took it back for a refund. The store said they’re having a lot of them returned for all kinds of reasons.

Walmart was good about the initial replacement and then returning my money.”

Equity Release Scam

Equity release schemes can be a great way to unlock funds built up in your property and make your retirement years more financially stable and enjoyable. However, recently numerous frauds and scams have arose in relation to the scheme, which means those who wish to become involved in equity release must do so carefully, in order to protect their finances and home.

What is an equity release scheme?

Equityrelease schemes are designed to help homeowners between the ages of 65-80 receive monthly payments or a lump sum in exchange for their home upon selling or death. When signing up for a release scheme you will be given a percentage of your home’s value to spend and will also be able to continue living in your home until death or if you move into a care facility or smaller property. Upon any of these instances the company will take ownership of your home and receive all payment and interest upon its sale.

What are the advantages of an equity release scheme?

This Scheme will allow you to continue living in your home, while receiving extra money during your retirement years. This will allow you to take the trips you always dreamed of, pay for improvements to your home or just to make your later years easy and free of financial stress.

What are the disadvantages of an equity release scheme?

You will not be able to leave your home to your love ones upon death and they will receive no money from the sale of the house. An equity release scheme may also mean you are not entitled to certain government benefits.

Scams and equity release schemes

Another downside of this type of schemes is the potential danger of scams. This can range from fraudulent companies making claims on your home without recompense, to investment companies targeting your extra funds and encouraging you to financially back a certain stock or credit, which reaps only them any benefits. Some tips to avoiding such frauds and scams include:

  1. Thorough research and independent advice: Whenever large sums are involved check the company thoroughly, search the Financial Services Authority Register and seek the recommendation of friends or family members before taking out any equity release schemes or investments.
  2. Avoid calls out of the blue: If a company contacts you without you having any prior interest in such a scheme it is likely to be a fraudulent company. Persistent calling and harassment is also a sure indicator that the business will not be to your benefit.
  3. Look out for impersonators: Some companies may attempt to impersonate registered and established companies, so it is always in your best interest to double check all information against independent sources.
  4. Opening and closing: If a caller transfers you from themselves to a more senior advisor to arrange payment and close the deal they are more than likely to be fraudulent and you should avoid sharing your details.
  5. Tip-Off’ Investment: If someone encourages you to invest in a stock or credit due to a ‘tip-off’ you are likely to lose your money. Favourite schemes of such fraudulent investors include wine, carbon credits and precious metals and stones.

An equity release scheme could be the ideal choice in helping you spend your retirement happily and free of financial worry, but it is always a good idea to thoroughly check all information concerning the company you are choosing and to seek independent advice before taking out a scheme or investment. Top 10 Tips to avoid Financial Scams

Theft, fraud or scam whatever may be the name these are the ones which leave us with loss when met. These exist everywhere so, be careful. We need to have some awareness regarding how these were happening and how can we avoid them.

Here are some tips for you all to avoid such scams.

  1. Avoid responding to the unknown sender’s message or call asking for your contact information or financial information.
  2. Be careful while creating your password. Avoid anything that can be easily discovered by the thieves. Better to use combined letters and numbers as your passwords. Ask for little more assistance from your financial institutions in providing protection for your account.
  3. Avoid storing your passwords or other account information in your wallets. It is easy for a criminal to rob your wallet and get all the information. Store all the password information and other important information in a secure place.
  4. While taking a loan get all the details regarding the payment, interest and other policies like PPI. If they are legal they will provide us with every information about the loan and how to reclaim and claim back PPI. And moreover they don’t ask us to pay any amount in advance in order to get the loan.
  5. When your credit or debit card was stolen, immediately inform it to the card provider about the loss. This not only prevents fraudulent charges but also helps to notify if your card is used again.
  6. When shopping online make sure that you have logged off completely after your online transactions.
  7. When you have some doubt with the authenticity of the email message from the company you are doing business with better avoid clicking on the link. Instead, type the URL of the company into the address bar and proceed.
  8. If you have posted some products for online auction then don’t accept overpayment. They will send the check and they will ask you to pay the difference back through wire. Later on the check may bounce and you may loss the money you wired. So avoid such things.
  9. Sometimes you will get emails and messages that you won the lottery and to receive the prize amount you need to pay some amount. Avoid such mails as you never need to pay anything to collect your winnings.
  10. Check out your credit report regularly. Ask your providers to send you your weekly report and an alert if any significant change has happened. Respond quickly to those alerts so that you can check and have peace of mind if everything is fine.

Pccare247 Review – Is it scams or True Computer COmpany?

Pccare247 Scams Report

Do you have a bad or good experience with IT Company called PCCare247 or www.pccare247.com? If so then please share with us here.

From ripoffreport.com, I found a complaint from Judy — Cincinnati Ohio United States of America, please read of the complete report below:

My 4 month old laptop froze up. I thought I was calling Norton support, and they represented themselves as such. They are not. They did fix what I found out later was not a virus but simply an installation problem (from the REAL Norton support people). pccare siad I had been hacked and showed me several hundred viruses and such and said they would install programs to fix problem. What they did was install two free internet anti-virus programs that made Norton antivirus inoperable. I had to call Norton and have them uninstall Norton, then reinstall it. Gosh, only took about an hour and a half of my day.

Anyway, I agreed to pay them at the time $100.00. this was to cover their work that day and a year’s subscription. I gave them the credit card info then and thought I was done with them. silly me. I get a phone call yesterday- 6 months later- and they want $249.00. First they said that my check was refused at the banl. I never pay on the internet by check. Then they said my credit card company refused the charge.

I kept inquiring about this because I knew I NEVER agreed to pay anyone $249 for ANY computer repair of any kind, and why on earth would my credit card company have denied any charge. I ws never informed of any such denial. Finally they said their payment server went down and they saw that they had not been paid. I said they weren’t going to get paid $249. I had agreed to pay $100 way back when, and my credit card had been used right after that for unauthorized charges of over $3000 dollars.

Thats for Bad experience, and I just got an email said that Pccare247 has help her PC problem, She is Nancy, and here are the complete reports:
“Do you know what, work at home scenarios are far more difficult to
handle than an everyday normal office routine? And I somehow got a
good understanding of this scenario when my boss called me up late in
the evening and asked me to take a printout of the crucial
presentation I was supposed to deliver the next morning. Considering
the situation on hand I merrily went ahead and gave a print command.
But then what happened next I wasn’t really ready for that. It was a
case where my stupid printer just went dead and wasn’t ready to
oblige to any of the print commands. It just sat over there and
remained motionless for the next 20 minutes. I knew something was
seriously wrong, so I called up my friend who again tried really hard
but was not able to come with a solution to the problem on hand. And
it was at this point that he recommended that I tried googling my way
out of the trouble.

Say, for instance search for a technical support provider which would
be well acquainted with the nuances of resolving Printer issues. Well,
at this juncture what came on my screen was the name of an entity
PCCare247. An organization claiming to have some of the best
Microsoft-Certified techies who could resolve all PC and all
associated peripherals related issues on hand. Yes, to my delight they
did end up resolving my issue on hand. The techie on the other hand
immediately knew there was a problem with the spooler and suggested
steps which would end up rectifying it. Well, that was it the issue
was resolved and PCCare247 ended up being a true life saver.

Thanks to PCCare247 and its elite brigade of techies for resolving my
problem. However, via this review I do not intend to recommend
PCCare247 or otherwise promote the service offerings of the company.
It is only a positive experience I wanted to share with other PC
others who are also facing issues with their PC and need a quick
resolution. In short, I would only say please call PCCare247 if you
intend to do so and yet at the same instance refraining from
considering this positive review as a recommendation.”

Brentwell Financial Loan, Insurance and Wire Fraud – Scam Report by bob gorden

I just got a scam report/fraud report from bob gorden, here is the details of the report:

I was approached by:

Brentwell Financial
750 3rd Ave Suite 2602
New York, New York 10022
Phone: 855-230-6578 ext. 204

Loan Agent Paul Wieber for a 7500 USD personal Loan on 4/10/2012.
They required a 826.00 USD “Security Deposit”. I was asked to wire
this amount to an individual named Patrick Jones in Maple, Ontario,
Canada via Western Union on 4/15/2012.

I gave them copies of my SSN and Driver License, Bank ABA and Bank
Account Number.

They required an 1153.00 USD Loan Insurance Policy, from Insurance
Adjuster David Murray. I wired another 650.00 USD. I wired 650.00 USD
to “Paul” Jones (I made a mistake on the name, should have been
Patrick Jones again and they were still able to pick up the money on
4/16/2012.

The following day another man called wanting me to wire another 680.00
USD for taxes on the loan. I refused to comply as I now knew this was
a fraudulent company. One person told me on 4/17/2012 that a refund
would be made in 14 to 30 days. A second person told me it would take
14 to 65 days. I knew I would never see a refund.

Now they refuse to answer the phone and voice mail that I leave.

I have contacted Local Police, IC3.gov, Western Union, Federal Trade
Commission, Federal Communications Commission, and Anti Fraud Center
in Canada, Electronic Fraud Task Team / CIA, Secret Service, Minnesota
Attorney General, Department of Commerce, National Fraud Center,
Interpol, Ripoff Report.Com, FBI, and my local phone company, Better
Business Bureau, National Consumers League, Merchantcircle.com,
ask.com, superpages.com, Experian, Trans Union, Equifax and my Bank.

The response from these agencies is as if no one is willing to take
the report and act on apprehending or locating these individuals.
