Pccare247 Scams Report

From ripoffreport.com, I found a complaint from Judy — Cincinnati Ohio United States of America, please read of the complete report below:

My 4 month old laptop froze up. I thought I was calling Norton support, and they represented themselves as such. They are not. They did fix what I found out later was not a virus but simply an installation problem (from the REAL Norton support people). pccare siad I had been hacked and showed me several hundred viruses and such and said they would install programs to fix problem. What they did was install two free internet anti-virus programs that made Norton antivirus inoperable. I had to call Norton and have them uninstall Norton, then reinstall it. Gosh, only took about an hour and a half of my day.

Anyway, I agreed to pay them at the time $100.00. this was to cover their work that day and a year’s subscription. I gave them the credit card info then and thought I was done with them. silly me. I get a phone call yesterday- 6 months later- and they want $249.00. First they said that my check was refused at the banl. I never pay on the internet by check. Then they said my credit card company refused the charge.

I kept inquiring about this because I knew I NEVER agreed to pay anyone $249 for ANY computer repair of any kind, and why on earth would my credit card company have denied any charge. I ws never informed of any such denial. Finally they said their payment server went down and they saw that they had not been paid. I said they weren’t going to get paid $249. I had agreed to pay $100 way back when, and my credit card had been used right after that for unauthorized charges of over $3000 dollars.

Thats for Bad experience, and I just got an email said that Pccare247 has help her PC problem, She is Nancy, and here are the complete reports:
“Do you know what, work at home scenarios are far more difficult to
handle than an everyday normal office routine? And I somehow got a
good understanding of this scenario when my boss called me up late in
the evening and asked me to take a printout of the crucial
presentation I was supposed to deliver the next morning. Considering
the situation on hand I merrily went ahead and gave a print command.
But then what happened next I wasn’t really ready for that. It was a
case where my stupid printer just went dead and wasn’t ready to
oblige to any of the print commands. It just sat over there and
remained motionless for the next 20 minutes. I knew something was
seriously wrong, so I called up my friend who again tried really hard
but was not able to come with a solution to the problem on hand. And
it was at this point that he recommended that I tried googling my way
out of the trouble.

Say, for instance search for a technical support provider which would
be well acquainted with the nuances of resolving Printer issues. Well,
at this juncture what came on my screen was the name of an entity
PCCare247. An organization claiming to have some of the best
Microsoft-Certified techies who could resolve all PC and all
associated peripherals related issues on hand. Yes, to my delight they
did end up resolving my issue on hand. The techie on the other hand
immediately knew there was a problem with the spooler and suggested
steps which would end up rectifying it. Well, that was it the issue
was resolved and PCCare247 ended up being a true life saver.

Thanks to PCCare247 and its elite brigade of techies for resolving my
problem. However, via this review I do not intend to recommend
PCCare247 or otherwise promote the service offerings of the company.
It is only a positive experience I wanted to share with other PC
others who are also facing issues with their PC and need a quick
resolution. In short, I would only say please call PCCare247 if you
intend to do so and yet at the same instance refraining from
considering this positive review as a recommendation.”
